Home baby gear FlyeBaby Air Travel Hammock Giveaway!

FlyeBaby Air Travel Hammock Giveaway!

by Shelly Rivoli

Back by popular demand!
Announcing a new FlyeBaby air travel hammock giveaway ($49.99 value)!
Tots on the Go, one of the first retailers to offer the FlyeBaby and, if I understand it right—the first to RENT it as well (hooray!), is sponsoring this great giveaway. Located in Virginia, but sympathetic to family travelers everywhere, they’ve got great travel gear both for sale and for rent through their website.
As for the FlyeBaby (a.k.a. flybaby), this is the spanking new product featured in SkyMall that lets you create a virtual airplane bassinet at any seat in the airplane when flying with your lap-held baby. If you haven’t read the Travels with Baby feature review of FlyeBaby yet, be sure to check it out.

To enter to win the FlyeBaby:

Leave a comment to this blog post completing this phrase:

“If I could use the FlyeBaby traveling on any airline in the world, it would be […airline] because […your reason].”

Maybe it’s the destinations served, the lap child luggage allowance, or perhaps it’s the free baby food and diapers provided in flight? If you need inspiration, be sure to check “The New Parent’s Guide to Airlines” comparison chart in Part 5 of  Travels with Baby. (Oh, this is going to be fun to follow!)
* Great gift – If you are hoping to win this as a baby shower gift for a friend, you can fill in the blanks on their behalf and we’ll include a note from you when shipped. *
To make sure your comment counts: Your comment must be posted before midnight Pacific Standard Time Tuesday 3/16/2010. Must be a Travels with Baby Tips subscriber (if you’re new here, just use the box above), U.S. shipping addresses only. One entry per person, excluding these extra methods. Note: “Anonymous” entries will not be considered; if you don’t have a Google I.D.; or Open I.D., please be sure to select the “Name” option and enter yours there when leaving your comment. Thanks!

Get up to 2 extra chances to win!

1.    Facebook fans – Visit the Travels with Baby Facebook fan page and post your same comment to the wall. Leave an additional comment here telling me you’ve done so.
2.    Twitter – Tweet all about it and include a link to this giveaway. Leave another comment below this post with a link to your tweet.

The randomly chosen winner will be announced Wednesday, March 17th, 2010. Yes, that’s Saint Patrick’s Day! Prize must be claimed in 3 days or the Luck of the Irish will fall to someone else.

Need it sooner? Need something else?
For a limited time Tots on the Go will give Travels with Baby readers 15% off purchases including the FlyeBaby or any other products from their online store! Just use code TWB at checkout.

Thanks, Tots on the Go!

If I coul d use FlyeBaby traveling on any airline in the world it would be Qantas because SFO to SYD is a LONG flight without a bassinet and inevitably at Christmas time, there are more babies than bassinettes on that 14-hour flight.

If I could use FlyeBaby traveling on any airline in the world, it would be Mexicana, because we have a credit from our cancelled "baby moon" last year. We had planned to return to beautiful Huatulco but the swine flu foiled our plans. This year we have all escaped the flu and been vaccinated and are eager to show our new little boy the tropical beauty of this region. The FlyeBaby would make our first trip as parents just a bit easier. We can't wait!
