Birth of my new blog! Please stop by and say hello to…

There is so much I could say in this post. Reflecting on 10 years since becoming a parent, figuring out how to grapple with motherhood and manage to stay afloat as a writer… and knowing I’ve got a good 10+ years or so ahead on this can be daunting.

But as you might expect, I’m packing up and getting ready for a new adventure instead. This time, it may involve cleaning a fish and cooking it over an open fire for dinner! Cross your fingers for me.

It’s been quite a year, as most of you know. Some friends have firmly asserted that I need to TAKE A BREAK. I think that they are right. Nevertheless, it’s been seven whopping months since I originally planned to bring this next blog online.

It happened. Today.

So before I head to the mountains, I want to give you an early preview of the new… FAMILY TRAVEL 411!

While TravelswithBaby.com will continue to serve up the tips, advice and inspiration it always has for travelers with children under 5, the new Family Travel 411 will go well beyond.

I’m so excited for the new venue, where I’ll be sharpening up my storytelling, photography, and… collaborating with some of my own favorite travel bloggers, writers, and photographers.
