Photo Fave: View from (the toilet at) Casa Vista, Costa Rica

by Shelly Rivoli
Here’s hoping I don’t have to go in to too much detail to explain this one. While there? were two indoor toilets at this amazing home we stayed at on a secluded stretch of Pacific beach in Costa Rica, you can see why this one had its own special appeal. That’s a bit of a river down toward the left that precludes an estuary, wild ginger in the foreground… thatched roof above… keep watching for an iguana.
As you can imagine, the shower beside this prime location was glorious for washing off the sand-riddled kids after a romp on the deserted beach just a short stroll from the opposite side of the house. Still… no better place to encourage the kids to “just try” before a day of adventure on the Nicoya Peninsula, and not a shabby spot to watch the sun come up before they awaken for the day.
If you haven’t yet caught my full review of Casa Vista, published earlier this week, read on about this amazing, remote house we stayed at in Costa Rica. For more tips, see all Travels with Baby Costa Rica family travel tips and advice here (more coming soon!).
