And with all of these tips at the ready in your phone (or kindle, or NOOK), it’s a lot of help in a little package for on-the-go parents.

Okay, here ends sales pitch and here follows one of my favorite tips from the Entertainment to Go chapter you can try the next time a layover finds you in an airport cafe.

• Create a two-dimensional (flat) log cabin out of wooden stir sticks collected from a cafe. Keep the stir sticks in your diaper bag to re-use when needed during your travels.

I know this Tip Tuesday came online a little bit late. I like to mix it up a little now and then just to help remind myself that it’s me running this blog and not the other way around.
