Keep traveling kids entertained for hours with Kindle FreeTime Unlimited

Kindle FreeTime Unlimited

Tap into thousands of titles, TV shows, games and apps for kids 3 to 8 years.

I know many of you have already enjoyed the benefits of an Amazon Kindle at home and also during travel. For those of you who already own the kindle Fire, and those considering investing in one, be sure to take a look at the new Kindle FreeTime Unlimited subscription service where, for either $4.99 per month for one child or $2.99 for those with Amazon Prime, you’ll have access to thousands of children’s ebooks, educational games, TV shows and apps rated for kids 3 to 8 years old.

What I especially like about this service is that, when using the Kindle FreeTime Unlimited app, the kids will not see any advertisements or opportunities for other app purchases, and web browsing is disabled. Better still, parental controls allow Mom and Dad to set daily time limits on certain activities — say games or TV shows — while you may allow unlimited time for reading books, for example.

For families with more than one child, the Kindle FreeTime Unlimited app can keep up to six different children’s profiles with their separate interests and selected content when you subscribe at the family rate ($9.99 / month or $6.99 / month with Amazon Prime).

Kindle FreeTime Unlimited is available (with subscription) on the Kindle Fire, the Kindle Fire HD, and the Kindle Fire HD 8.9″. Click here to read more about the new Kindle FreeTime Unlimited subscription service from Amazon.
